The breaking story from SI.com and the recent fallout from those affected by their release of names on the HGH purchase list has me quite bothered. The list included various WWE wrestlers who did purchase HGH for their personal use (what other use would there be?). The WWE released a statement regarding the issue and many people commenting on the issue were surprised and disappointed that professional wrestlers would use HGH. My question is how the hell did you think they got that big? They are on the road almost every day of the year and somehow still manage to have muscles bulging out of their forehead. Who are they really trying to fool? I was under the impression that everyone knew that a solid percentage of wrestlers took steroids. I guess I should also break it to those who were surprised that wrestling is fake, there is such thing as a mafia, awards shows are political, and referees are sometimes paid off. BUT shhh, we don't want too many people to know. What ever would happen if people knew that professional sports and the entertainment industry are in it for the money?
Here's a thought: These huge men with muscles that seem to take over their whole body, oiled up skin, and hairless bodies, white teeth, and perfect skin are not natural. Nobody actually looks like that without a little help. It's a business people. It's a business where the toughest, best looking, and most charismatic individuals succeed. Tell me you've never heard of Hulk Hogan and the legendary Hulkamania. You think at his age it's possible to look like that without some help. Let it go, it's not like they're actually competing. It's all scripted and all staged. Let's focus our energy on people that really matter, like professional bowlers. They seem to be getting too many strikes lately, and last week I think I saw one guy shatter a pin....
Oh, sorry. I guess I was just taking a page out of the NFL's steroid policy page of ignoring it until it goes away and then rewarding it for having a great season despite being suspended for using steroids. If you're not familiar with the Charger that I'm referencing, then just look it up. That is if the NFL hasn't shredded the documents on the whole thing yet....
Long live sports,
