Few thoughts to touch on today...
First Thing,
I will agree with DG2 on the Willis deal. Nothing made me happier than rolling out of bed at around 12pm the other day to see that the Bills pulled the trigger. Everything that was said before is true to me as well. Then, around 6 hours later it hurt to see michael smith saying the biggest disappointment this offseason was the Bills. It hurts to hear that but it is kind of true. We had a solid year and started off hot this offseason by answering our biggest needs (O-Line). Then, we let a lot of core players go; Clements needed to go, so did Willis, but Fletcher is solid (although undersized). I'm not disagreeing with the moves, cause I am not a GM (yet), but I am just anxious to see what is in the future this offseason (Donte Stallworth neone?)
Painfully So,
I will be the first Bills fan to reach out and say congratulations Tom Brady. I don't care how much my friends hate him, I can not help but look up to him, just not for football. I mean honestly, he is pulling off a Shawn Kemp and I love it. First Bridget Moynahan, who is definately one of the hottest 35+ women today (Kelly Preston reigns supreme) and now knocking up the second hottest Victoria Secret Model (behind Adrianna Lima) Gisele Bundchen. Say what you will about him on the field, but off it, the man is an idol to adolescent young males around the world.
Answer to DG2,
In the coming months the few readers we don't have are going to be able to get a view of the differing views of your new favorite bloggers. Got to love baseball season, especially when it heats up and we start going at it. First order of business, I love the Yankees, but reader beware, don't dare call me a bandwagon fan. The A Rod news is well accepted in Yankee nation. It's about time A Rod spoke his mind and stopped acting like a child. Who cares if you love Lou, everyone has their first, ha ha, and we know you are ours for the next year. All I can say is let's hope the venting and not trying to be the Model Citizen in sports will allow you to gain some self confidence and start to realize you are the best player in baseball.
Final Thought,
See 300. Great movie, totally not sports related but still, best movie since Gladiator in that genre (Gladiator still rains supreme).
Until Next Time (and a better closing line),
DG1
